Issue: Find the manifest file direct from the base path in the repo

The backend currently requires the exercise-test.mft manifest to be stored in each exercise directory as it pose not traverse back the submission base directory

Solution: retrieve the manifest from the submission´s base directory

The merge request !1 (merged) address this issue and the state is satisfactory

As this has taken unexpectedly quite long for me, I would like to enhance a litle bit the backend code to make it more readable and mantainable. I will work this weekend on it and on the propper documentation. I think it´s the best to have before the new people joins on December 1st and therefore make their onboarding easier.

One remark: please change the sysouts to log output.

The new developers will not work on the backend. Therefore, please focus on the next issue and update code only as you go along with issues.
