# CityGML
For this exercise we can use different open data sources like the CityGML dataset from New York City or from the German federal State North Rhine-Westphalia:
* NYC mixed LOD1 and LOD2 buildings
* https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doitt/initiatives/3d-building.page
* North Rhine-Westphalia buildings aggregated per municipality or city in LOD 1 or 2
* https://www.opengeodata.nrw.de/produkte/geobasis/3dg/lod1_gml/lod1_gml_paketiert/
* https://www.opengeodata.nrw.de/produkte/geobasis/3dg/lod2_gml/lod2_gml_paketiert/
* North Rhine-Westphalia aggregated according to predefined tiles in LOD 1 or 2
* https://www.opengeodata.nrw.de/produkte/geobasis/3dg/lod1_gml/lod1_gml/
* https://www.opengeodata.nrw.de/produkte/geobasis/3dg/lod2_gml/lod2_gml/
The size of the dataset can influence the time for downloading, processing in FME and hosting for the viewer, maybe choose a smaller dataset for the start.
